Privacy Notice

This notice explains how personal data you provide through this website is handled, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Data we collect

• Contact, quotation and consultation forms: name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred channel and anything you write.
• Business solution check and pricing calculator: business type, problems you choose and package selections. If you don't send contact details, these records contain no personal data.
• Onboarding requests: business details, website or social media links, business activity declarations and documents you choose to upload (for example a catalogue or price list).
• Campaign source: the source page and campaign parameters (such as utm_source), to understand where enquiries come from.
• Free-trial sign-ups and portal accounts: name, business name, email, type of business and password (stored as a hash that cannot be read back). The network (IP) address is recorded in the security log and used to limit the number of sign-ups.

Purpose

We use your data to answer your enquiry, prepare recommendations and quotations, provide the services you request, carry out business eligibility reviews and communicate about those services. We do not sell your data.

Uploaded documents

Documents are stored privately and can only be opened by authorised Y5DATA staff through a secure login. They are never shown publicly and are not used for any other purpose.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics tools are used only if you agree through the cookie settings. Names, emails and phone numbers are never sent to analytics tools.

Storage and transfer

Data is stored in a managed database hosted in a data centre in Singapore by our infrastructure provider. Access is limited to authorised administrators, and important actions are recorded in an audit log.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Portal account data and the business data you enter (including during a free trial) is not deleted automatically when a trial or subscription ends: it is kept until you ask for deletion, so you can resume or request a copy. You can ask for deletion at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us at admin@y5data.com.
